### sec.166 Disqualification from membership
A person can not become, or continue as, an appointed member if the person—
is affected by bankruptcy action; or
is convicted of an offence against this Act.
For subsection (1) (a) , a person is affected by bankruptcy action if the person—
is bankrupt; or
has compounded with creditors; or
has otherwise taken, or applied to take, advantage of any law about bankruptcy.
(sec.166-ssec.1) A person can not become, or continue as, an appointed member if the person— is affected by bankruptcy action; or is convicted of an offence against this Act.
(sec.166-ssec.2) For subsection (1) (a) , a person is affected by bankruptcy action if the person— is bankrupt; or has compounded with creditors; or has otherwise taken, or applied to take, advantage of any law about bankruptcy.
- (a) is affected by bankruptcy action; or
- (b) is convicted of an offence against this Act.
