### sec.39 Board to keep responsible Ministers informed
The board must—
keep the responsible Ministers reasonably informed of the Authority’s operations, financial performance and financial position and its achievement of the objectives in its strategic and operational plans; and
give the responsible Ministers reports and information that they need to enable them to make informed assessments of matters mentioned in paragraph (a) ; and
immediately inform the responsible Ministers of any matters that arise that, in the board’s opinion, may—
prevent, or significantly affect, achievement of the objectives in the Authority’s strategic and operational plans; or
significantly affect the Authority’s performance in delivering the outputs under its operational plan.
- (a) keep the responsible Ministers reasonably informed of the Authority’s operations, financial performance and financial position and its achievement of the objectives in its strategic and operational plans; and
- (b) give the responsible Ministers reports and information that they need to enable them to make informed assessments of matters mentioned in paragraph (a) ; and
- (c) immediately inform the responsible Ministers of any matters that arise that, in the board’s opinion, may— (i) prevent, or significantly affect, achievement of the objectives in the Authority’s strategic and operational plans; or (ii) significantly affect the Authority’s performance in delivering the outputs under its operational plan.
