### sec.217 Quorum and voting at meetings
At a meeting of the authority—
the required minimum number of members constitute a quorum; and
a question is decided by a majority of the votes of the members present and voting; and
each member present has a vote on each question to be decided and, if the votes are equal, the member presiding has a casting vote.
However, an associate member may vote at a meeting of the authority only if the meeting is held for the investigation for which the member is appointed.
