### sec.113 Vacancy in office The office of a community visitor becomes vacant and the person’s appointment as a community visitor ends if— the community visitor completes a fixed term and is not reappointed; or the community visitor resigns by notice of resignation given to the public guardian— at least 2 weeks before the notice is to take effect; or within a shorter period approved by the public guardian; or for a community visitor (adult)—the person is, or becomes, ineligible to hold office under section 110 (2) ; or for a community visitor (child)—the person is, or becomes, ineligible to hold office under section 111 (2) . (sec.113-ssec.2) A notice of resignation mentioned in subsection (1) (b) takes effect in accordance with its terms and without needing the acceptance of the public guardian. - (a) the community visitor completes a fixed term and is not reappointed; or - (b) the community visitor resigns by notice of resignation given to the public guardian— (i) at least 2 weeks before the notice is to take effect; or (ii) within a shorter period approved by the public guardian; or - (i) at least 2 weeks before the notice is to take effect; or - (ii) within a shorter period approved by the public guardian; or - (c) for a community visitor (adult)—the person is, or becomes, ineligible to hold office under section 110 (2) ; or - (d) for a community visitor (child)—the person is, or becomes, ineligible to hold office under section 111 (2) . - (i) at least 2 weeks before the notice is to take effect; or - (ii) within a shorter period approved by the public guardian; or
