### sec.714 Inquiry to be public unless board directs A board or inquiry must hold its inquiry in public. However, the board may, of its own initiative or on the application of a person represented at the inquiry— direct the inquiry, or part of the inquiry, be held in private; and give directions about who may be present. The board may give a direction under subsection (2) only if it is satisfied it is appropriate to do so. (sec.714-ssec.1) A board or inquiry must hold its inquiry in public.
