### sec.713 Inquiry procedures
A board of inquiry, in conducting its inquiry—
must observe natural justice; and
must act as quickly, and with as little formality and technicality, as is consistent with a fair and appropriate consideration of the issues; and
is not bound by the rules of evidence; and
may conduct itself in a way it considers appropriate, including, for example, by holding hearings; and
must keep a record of its proceedings; and
must comply with this division and procedural rules prescribed under a regulation.
- (a) must observe natural justice; and

- (c) is not bound by the rules of evidence; and
- (d) may conduct itself in a way it considers appropriate, including, for example, by holding hearings; and
