### sec.86 Delegation The ombudsman may delegate the ombudsman’s functions under this Act or the Human Rights Act 2019 , section 66 to an appropriately qualified officer of the ombudsman. However, the ombudsman may not delegate a function under this Act to an officer of the ombudsman if the ombudsman as the inspector of detention services has delegated a function to the officer under the Inspector of Detention Services Act 2022 .
