### sec.61 Term of appointment The ombudsman holds office as ombudsman for the term, of no more than 5 years, stated in the instrument of appointment. The ombudsman holds office as inspector of detention services for the term, of no more than 5 years, stated in the instrument of appointment. A person may be reappointed as the ombudsman and the inspector of detention services. However, a person must not be reappointed if the total of the person’s terms of appointment as the ombudsman would be more than 10 years. s 61 sub 2022 No. 18 s 69 (sec.61-ssec.1) The ombudsman holds office as ombudsman for the term, of no more than 5 years, stated in the instrument of appointment.
