### sec.13AB Execution requirements
An affidavit or declaration must be in writing.
An affidavit or declaration is executed only if it is—
witnessed under this part and, if applicable, part 6A ; and
signed by the signatory or a substitute signatory; and
confirmed by the witness for the document.

If an affidavit or declaration is to be filed or admitted into evidence in a proceeding, subsection (2) applies subject to a rule of court or practice direction applying to the document.
Subsection (2) does not limit a requirement relating to an affidavit or declaration under another Act or law.

(sec.13AB-ssec.1) An affidavit or declaration must be in writing.
