### sec.14 What is public land Public land is any land other than— private land; or to the extent an interest in any of the following relates to the land— a mining interest under the Mineral Resources Act ; a petroleum authority under the P&G Act or 1923 Act petroleum tenure under the 1923 Act ; a GHG authority under the Greenhouse Gas Act ; a geothermal tenure under the Geothermal Act ; an occupation right under a permit under the Land Act 1994 . Public land includes a public road.
