### sec.26 Amendment by application
The holder of a permission may apply to the chief executive for an amendment of the permission.
The application must—
be in the approved form; and
be supported by enough information to enable the application to be decided, including the information mentioned in schedule 2 ; and
comply with any other requirements for the application under a zoning plan applying to the marine park; and
be made at least 10 business days before the holder of the permission intends the amendment to take effect.
However, the chief executive may consider an application for an amendment even if the application does not comply with subsection (2) .
If the chief executive decides to make the amendment, the chief executive must give the holder notice of the amendment.
The amendment takes effect on the later of the following days—
the day the notice is given to the holder;
the day of effect stated in the notice.
The effect of the amendment does not depend on the amendment being noted on the permission.
If the chief executive decides to refuse the application, the chief executive must as soon as practicable after making the decision give the holder an information notice about the decision.
