### sec.25 Amendment by chief executive
This section applies if—
the chief executive reasonably believes a permission should be amended; and
the proposed amendment is a minor amendment.
The chief executive may amend the permission by giving the holder of the permission notice of the amendment.
The notice must state the reasons for the amendment.
Sections 28 and 29 do not apply to the amendment.
The amendment takes effect on the later of the following days—
the day the notice is given to the holder;
the day of effect stated in the notice.
The effect of the amendment does not depend on the amendment being noted on the permission.
In this section—
minor amendment means an amendment that—
omits a condition, if the omission does not adversely affect the holder’s interest; or
corrects an error; or
makes another change, other than a change of substance, that does not adversely affect the holder’s interests.

- (a) the chief executive reasonably believes a permission should be amended; and
- (b) the proposed amendment is a minor amendment.

- (b) corrects an error; or
- (c) makes another change, other than a change of substance, that does not adversely affect the holder’s interests.
