### sec.141 Forgery and deception
A person must not—
forge an official lottery document; or
knowingly utter a forged official lottery document.
Maximum penalty—200 penalty units or 2 years imprisonment.
A person must not connive at the commission of an offence against subsection (1) .

A person forges a document if the person makes a false document, knowing it to be false, with the intention that—
it may be used or acted on to the prejudice or benefit of a person; or
a person may, in the belief that it is genuine, be induced to do, or refrain from doing, something.
Without limiting subsection (3) , a genuine document may become a false document because of—
an alteration of the document in a material respect; or
an addition to the body of the document in a material respect; or
an addition of a false date, signature, attestation, seal or other material matter.
A person utters a document if the person—
uses or deals with the document; or
attempts to use or deal with the document; or
induces a person to use, deal with or act on the document; or
attempts to induce a person to use, deal with or act on the document.

- (a) forge an official lottery document; or
- (b) knowingly utter a forged official lottery document.
