### sec.140 Cheating
A person must not, in relation to an approved lottery, dishonestly obtain a benefit by—
an act, practice or scheme; or
the use of a thing.
Maximum penalty—200 penalty units or 2 years imprisonment.
For subsection (1) , a person obtains a benefit if the person obtains for the person or another person, or induces a person to deliver, give or credit to the person or another person, any money, benefit, advantage, valuable consideration or security.
