### sec.136 Directions about advertising
If the chief executive reasonably believes an advertisement about a lottery does not comply with section 135 , the chief executive may direct the person appearing to be responsible for authorising the advertisement to take the appropriate steps—
to stop the advertisement being shown; or
to change the advertisement.
The direction must—
be in writing; and
state the grounds for the direction; and
for a direction to change the advertisement—state how the advertisement is to be changed.
A person to whom a direction is given must comply with the direction, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
Maximum penalty for subsection (3) —20 penalty units.
