### sec.127J Obligation to notify electoral commission of change to details
If a relevant detail about a registered third party changes, the agent of the third party must give the electoral commission notice about the change, in the approved form, within 30 days after the change happens.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
A person does not commit an offence against subsection (1) if the person has a reasonable excuse.
In this section—
relevant detail , about a registered third party, means—
a detail about the third party stated in the third party’s application for registration for an election; or
if a detail mentioned in paragraph (a) has been the subject of a notice under subsection (1) —the changed detail as stated in the notice.
