### sec.594 Preservation of rights if person becomes public service officer
On the appointment of a person holding office under this part as a public service officer, the person’s service under this part must be regarded as service as a public service officer.
Subsection (1) does not apply to the commissioner if the person is guilty of misconduct in office as commissioner.
