### sec.214 Membership of professional association
An Australian-registered foreign lawyer is not required to join any professional association.
However, subsection (1) does not prevent an Australian-registered foreign lawyer joining a professional association if the person is eligible to do so.
(sec.214-ssec.1) An Australian-registered foreign lawyer is not required to join any professional association.
