### sec.54C Content of building management statement
A building management statement must contain provisions about the following—
the supply of services to lots;
rights of access to lots;
rights of support and shelter;
insurance arrangements.
A building management statement may contain provisions about the following—
establishment and operation of a management group;
imposition and recovery of levies, how levy amounts are to be kept and how levy amounts are to be spent;
property maintenance;
architectural and landscaping standards;
dispute resolution;
rules for common services and facilities;
administrative arrangements;
arrangements for accomplishing the extinguishment of the statement;
proposed future development.
To avoid doubt, it is declared that a right of access, support or shelter, or other right in the nature of an easement, under a building management statement may operate according to its terms, and may be effective, despite the absence of a formal registered easement establishing the right.
A dispute resolution provision under a building management statement may operate to require the referral of a dispute arising under the building management statement other than to a court, but the provision is ineffective to the extent that it purports to operate to stop final determination of the dispute in a court of competent jurisdiction.
