### sec.55F Effect of surrender
On the surrender of all or part of a deed of grant in trust, the following applies in relation to the land the subject of the surrender—
the trust ends;
all appointments of trustees are cancelled;
all interests in the deed of grant in trust are extinguished;
the land becomes unallocated State land;
no person has a right to claim compensation from the Minister or the State for the surrender.
