### sec.390F Appointment conditions and limit on powers
An authorised officer holds office on any conditions stated in—
the authorised officer’s instrument of appointment; or
a signed notice given to the authorised officer; or
a regulation.
The instrument of appointment, a signed notice given to the authorised officer or a regulation may limit the authorised officer’s powers.
In this section—
signed notice means a notice signed by the chief executive.

(sec.390F-ssec.1) An authorised officer holds office on any conditions stated in— the authorised officer’s instrument of appointment; or a signed notice given to the authorised officer; or a regulation.
(sec.390F-ssec.2) The instrument of appointment, a signed notice given to the authorised officer or a regulation may limit the authorised officer’s powers.
(sec.390F-ssec.3) In this section— signed notice means a notice signed by the chief executive.
- (a) the authorised officer’s instrument of appointment; or
- (b) a signed notice given to the authorised officer; or
- (c) a regulation.
