### sec.32 Request for statement of reasons
If a person makes a decision to which this part applies, a person who is entitled to make an application to the court under section 20 in relation to the decision may request the person to provide a written statement in relation to the decision.
The request must be made by written notice given to—
if the decision was made by the Governor in Council or by Cabinet—the Minister responsible for the administration of the enactment, or the scheme or program, under which the decision was made; or
in any other case—the person who made the decision.
(sec.32-ssec.1) If a person makes a decision to which this part applies, a person who is entitled to make an application to the court under section 20 in relation to the decision may request the person to provide a written statement in relation to the decision.
(sec.32-ssec.2) The request must be made by written notice given to— if the decision was made by the Governor in Council or by Cabinet—the Minister responsible for the administration of the enactment, or the scheme or program, under which the decision was made; or in any other case—the person who made the decision.
- (a) if the decision was made by the Governor in Council or by Cabinet—the Minister responsible for the administration of the enactment, or the scheme or program, under which the decision was made; or
- (b) in any other case—the person who made the decision.
