### sec.29 Stay of decision
The making of an application to the court under section 20 in relation to a decision does not—
affect the operation of the decision; or
prevent the taking of action to implement the decision.
Despite subsection (1) , the court or a judge—
may, by order, suspend the operation of the decision; and
may order a stay of any proceeding under the decision.
The court or judge may make the order—
of the court’s or judge’s own motion; or
on the application of the person who made the application.
(sec.29-ssec.1) The making of an application to the court under section 20 in relation to a decision does not— affect the operation of the decision; or prevent the taking of action to implement the decision.
(sec.29-ssec.2) Despite subsection (1) , the court or a judge— may, by order, suspend the operation of the decision; and may order a stay of any proceeding under the decision.
(sec.29-ssec.3) The court or judge may make the order— of the court’s or judge’s own motion; or on the application of the person who made the application.
- (a) affect the operation of the decision; or
- (b) prevent the taking of action to implement the decision.
