### sec.66J Decision in relation to taking action after show cause process
After considering any written response received under section 66I (2) (e) , the integrity commissioner may decide—
to take the proposed action stated in the show cause notice; or
to take different action under section 66H (2) the integrity commissioner considers appropriate; or
The proposed action stated in the show cause notice was to cancel the entity’s registration as a lobbyist. After considering the written response to the show cause notice, the integrity commissioner may decide to suspend the entity’s registration for a stated period of not more than 12 months instead of cancelling the registration.
to issue a warning to the entity instead of taking any action under section 66H (2) ; or
not to take any action under section 66H (2) .
The integrity commissioner must give notice of the decision to the entity.
The decision takes effect at the end of 10 days after the date of the decision or, if the notice states a later day of effect, on the later day.
If the entity is a listed person for an entity, the notice given under subsection (2) must be given to the listed person and the entity.
