### sec.39 Disclosure to Leader of the Opposition
The integrity commissioner must give to the Leader of the Opposition a copy of a relevant document relating to a non-government member who is a member of the political party to which the Leader of the Opposition belongs, if—
the Leader of the Opposition asks for a copy of the document; or
the integrity commissioner reasonably believes the member has an actual or perceived, and significant, interests issue.
The integrity commissioner may give a copy of a relevant document to the Leader of the Opposition under subsection (1) (b) only if—
the integrity commissioner gives the non-government member written advice that the integrity commissioner has the belief mentioned in subsection (1) (b) and is required to give a copy of the document to the Leader of the Opposition; and
the member fails to resolve the interests issue to the integrity commissioner’s satisfaction within 5 business days after being given the advice.
