### sec.707 Existing office holders
If a person holding an office for an organisation is convicted of a disqualifying offence, the person may apply to the court for leave to hold the office or another stated office.
The court may grant the leave only if—
the application is made within 28 days after the conviction; and
the person has not already made an application under this section for leave to hold the office despite the conviction.
(sec.707-ssec.1) If a person holding an office for an organisation is convicted of a disqualifying offence, the person may apply to the court for leave to hold the office or another stated office.
(sec.707-ssec.2) The court may grant the leave only if— the application is made within 28 days after the conviction; and the person has not already made an application under this section for leave to hold the office despite the conviction.
