### sec.165 Display of identity card An investigator may exercise a power in relation to someone else (the other person ) only if the investigator— first produces the investigator’s identity card for the other person’s inspection; or has the identity card displayed so it is clearly visible to the other person. However, if for any reason it is not practicable to comply with subsection (1) before exercising the power, the investigator must produce the identity card for the other person’s inspection at the first reasonable opportunity.
