### sec.69C Misusing water
A person must not—
take water from a dam, lake or watercourse in a State forest or timber reserve, other than—
for personal use within the State forest or timber reserve; or
to water an animal that the person brought into the State forest or timber reserve; or
dam or divert a watercourse in a State forest or timber reserve; or
damage a water supply or storage facility in a State forest or timber reserve; or
allow water from a water supply or storage facility in a State forest or timber reserve to run to waste.
Maximum penalty—50 penalty units.
In this section—
water supply or storage facility includes a dam, water pipeline, water pump and water tank.

(sec.69C-ssec.2) In this section— water supply or storage facility includes a dam, water pipeline, water pump and water tank.
- (a) take water from a dam, lake or watercourse in a State forest or timber reserve, other than— (i) for personal use within the State forest or timber reserve; or (ii) to water an animal that the person brought into the State forest or timber reserve; or
- (i) for personal use within the State forest or timber reserve; or
- (ii) to water an animal that the person brought into the State forest or timber reserve; or
- (b) dam or divert a watercourse in a State forest or timber reserve; or
- (c) damage a water supply or storage facility in a State forest or timber reserve; or
- (d) allow water from a water supply or storage facility in a State forest or timber reserve to run to waste.
- (i) for personal use within the State forest or timber reserve; or
- (ii) to water an animal that the person brought into the State forest or timber reserve; or
