### sec.69D Entering a dam, lake or watercourse
The chief executive may, by regulatory notice, prohibit any person—
entering a dam, lake or watercourse in a State forest or timber reserve; or
going onto a bed or bank of a dam, lake or watercourse in a State forest or timber reserve.
The chief executive may do so only if satisfied it is necessary to protect 1 or more of the following—
the health or safety of people;
the quality of the water in the dam, lake or watercourse;
plants or animals.
A person must not contravene a regulatory notice under subsection (1) .
Maximum penalty for subsection (3) —50 penalty units.
