### sec.25 Assessment of performance of fishery
The chief executive must assess the performance of a fishery against the approved harvest strategy for the fishery.
The assessment must be conducted—
if the harvest strategy states when the assessment must be conducted—at the stated time; or
otherwise—annually.
The chief executive must give the Minister a written report about the assessment within 21 days after completing the assessment.
The report must state the action the chief executive considers should be taken to address any concerns about the performance of the fishery against the harvest strategy.
Unless the Minister directs otherwise within 21 days after the Minister is given the report, the chief executive must take the action mentioned in subsection (4) as soon as practicable after the 21 days have passed.

(sec.25-ssec.1) The chief executive must assess the performance of a fishery against the approved harvest strategy for the fishery.
