### sec.79 Responsibilities of transporter While transporting the waste in Queensland, the transporter must carry a document containing the information received from the generator under section 78 (1) (a) . Maximum penalty—20 penalty units. When the transporter gives the waste to the receiver, the transporter must— give the receiver the prescribed information about the waste; and record the prescribed information about the waste. Maximum penalty—20 penalty units. Within 7 days after becoming aware of a discrepancy in information received from the generator under section 78 (1) (a) , the transporter must give written notice of the discrepancy to the administering authority. Maximum penalty—20 penalty units. The transporter must keep the record mentioned in subsection (2) (b) for at least 5 years. Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
