### sec.80 Responsibilities of receiver
When the transporter gives the waste to the receiver, the receiver must record the prescribed information about the waste.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
The receiver must give the prescribed information about the waste to the administering authority in the prescribed way and within the prescribed period after receiving the waste from the transporter.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
Within 7 days after becoming aware of a discrepancy in the information received from the transporter under section 79 (2) (a) , the receiver must give written notice of the discrepancy to the administering authority.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
The receiver must keep the record mentioned in subsection (1) for at least 5 years.
