sec.446Terms of appointment of authorised persons

### sec.446 Terms of appointment of authorised persons An authorised person holds office on the conditions stated in the instrument of appointment. An authorised person appointed under section 445 (1) (c) — is appointed for the term stated in the instrument of appointment; and may resign by signed notice given to the chief executive. An authorised person ceases to hold office— if the authorised person was appointed under section 445 (1) (a) —if the authorised person ceases to be an appropriately qualified public service officer; or if the authorised person was appointed under section 445 (1) (b) —if the authorised person ceases to be an employee of the department; or if the authorised person was appointed under section 445 (1) (c) —if the authorised person ceases to be a member of the relevant class of persons; or if the authorised person was appointed under section 445 (2) —if the authorised person ceases to be an employee of the local government. s 446 amd 2000 No. 64 s 3 (2) sch (sec.446-ssec.1) An authorised person holds office on the conditions stated in the instrument of appointment.
