### sec.39 Duty of worker
While at work, a worker must—
take reasonable care for the worker’s own electrical safety; and
take reasonable care that the worker’s acts or omissions do not adversely affect the electrical safety of other persons or property; and
comply, so far as the worker is reasonably able, with—
any reasonable instruction that is given by the person conducting the business or undertaking to allow the person to comply with this Act; or
subject to subparagraph (i) , any reasonable instruction about electrical equipment located at the workplace given by a person in control of the electrical equipment to allow the person to comply with this Act; and
cooperate with any reasonable policy or procedure of the person conducting the business or undertaking relating to electrical safety at the workplace that has been notified to workers.

- (a) take reasonable care for the worker’s own electrical safety; and
- (b) take reasonable care that the worker’s acts or omissions do not adversely affect the electrical safety of other persons or property; and
- (c) comply, so far as the worker is reasonably able, with— (i) any reasonable instruction that is given by the person conducting the business or undertaking to allow the person to comply with this Act; or (ii) subject to subparagraph (i) , any reasonable instruction about electrical equipment located at the workplace given by a person in control of the electrical equipment to allow the person to comply with this Act; and
- (i) any reasonable instruction that is given by the person conducting the business or undertaking to allow the person to comply with this Act; or
- (ii) subject to subparagraph (i) , any reasonable instruction about electrical equipment located at the workplace given by a person in control of the electrical equipment to allow the person to comply with this Act; and
- (d) cooperate with any reasonable policy or procedure of the person conducting the business or undertaking relating to electrical safety at the workplace that has been notified to workers.
- (i) any reasonable instruction that is given by the person conducting the business or undertaking to allow the person to comply with this Act; or
- (ii) subject to subparagraph (i) , any reasonable instruction about electrical equipment located at the workplace given by a person in control of the electrical equipment to allow the person to comply with this Act; and
