### sec.36 Applicant may ask clerk of court for hearing before respondent is served or without giving verification declaration
This section applies for the purpose of the court making a temporary protection order under division 2 .
The applicant for a protection order may ask the clerk of the court to arrange for the application to be heard by the court—
before the application is served on the respondent; or
before the application is served on the respondent and without the applicant giving the court a verification declaration.
This section applies despite section 34 .

(sec.36-ssec.1) This section applies for the purpose of the court making a temporary protection order under division 2 .
(sec.36-ssec.2) The applicant for a protection order may ask the clerk of the court to arrange for the application to be heard by the court— before the application is served on the respondent; or before the application is served on the respondent and without the applicant giving the court a verification declaration.
(sec.36-ssec.3) This section applies despite section 34 .
- (a) before the application is served on the respondent; or
- (b) before the application is served on the respondent and without the applicant giving the court a verification declaration.
