### sec.33 Fixing of date, time and place for hearing
If the applicant for the protection order is a police officer, as soon as practicable after the application is prepared, the police officer must prepare a copy of the application that states the date, time and place for the hearing of the application.
If the applicant for the protection order is not a police officer, as soon as practicable after the application is filed in the court, the clerk of the court must—
write on a copy of the application the date, time and place for the hearing of the application; and
give the copy of the application to—
the applicant; and
the officer in charge of the police station nearest the place where the respondent lives or was last known to live.
(sec.33-ssec.1) If the applicant for the protection order is a police officer, as soon as practicable after the application is prepared, the police officer must prepare a copy of the application that states the date, time and place for the hearing of the application.
(sec.33-ssec.2) If the applicant for the protection order is not a police officer, as soon as practicable after the application is filed in the court, the clerk of the court must— write on a copy of the application the date, time and place for the hearing of the application; and give the copy of the application to— the applicant; and the officer in charge of the police station nearest the place where the respondent lives or was last known to live.
