### sec.32 Application for protection order
An application for a protection order may be made to a Magistrates Court by—
an aggrieved; or
an authorised person for an aggrieved; or
a police officer under part 4 ; or
a person acting under another Act for an aggrieved.
The application must—
be in the approved form; and
state the grounds on which it is made; and
state the nature of the order sought; and
if the applicant is not a police officer—be verified by the applicant by a statutory declaration (a verification declaration ); and
be filed in the court.
However, subsection (2) (d) does not apply to an applicant if the clerk of the court agrees to grant the applicant’s request under section 36 (2) (b) .

(sec.32-ssec.1) An application for a protection order may be made to a Magistrates Court by— an aggrieved; or an authorised person for an aggrieved; or a police officer under part 4 ; or a person acting under another Act for an aggrieved.
(sec.32-ssec.2) The application must— be in the approved form; and state the grounds on which it is made; and state the nature of the order sought; and if the applicant is not a police officer—be verified by the applicant by a statutory declaration (a verification declaration ); and be filed in the court.
(sec.32-ssec.3) However, subsection (2) (d) does not apply to an applicant if the clerk of the court agrees to grant the applicant’s request under section 36 (2) (b) .
- (a) an aggrieved; or

- (c) a police officer under part 4 ; or
- (d) a person acting under another Act for an aggrieved.
