### sec.35 Abandoning applications for extensions
This section applies to an applicant for extension of time within which to appeal.
The applicant, at any time after filing the application, may abandon it by giving to the registrar a notice of abandonment of application.
The application is taken to be refused by the Court of Appeal when the notice of abandonment is given to the registrar.
However, if the court considers it necessary in the interests of justice, the Court of Appeal may set aside the abandonment and reinstate the application.
(sec.35-ssec.1) This section applies to an applicant for extension of time within which to appeal.
