### sec.36 Abandoning appeal
An appellant, at any time after starting an appeal, may abandon it by giving to the registrar a notice of abandonment of appeal.
The appeal is taken to be dismissed by the Court of Appeal when the notice is given to the registrar.
However, if the Court of Appeal considers it necessary in the interests of justice, the Court of Appeal may set aside the abandonment and reinstate the appeal.
