### sec.401 References to former titles
In an instrument, a reference in column 1 of the following table may, if the context permits, be taken to be the corresponding reference in column 2 of the table.

Subsection (3) applies if a reference in column 2 of the table in section 351(2) is also a reference in column 1 of the table in subsection (1) of this section.
From the commencement day, if the context permits, section 351(2) applies as if the reference in column 2 of the table in section 351(2) were the corresponding reference in column 2 of the table in subsection (1) of this section.
