### sec.400 References to Crime and Misconduct Act 2001 and particular terms
In an instrument, if the context permits—
a reference to the Crime and Misconduct Act 2001 may be taken to be a reference to the Crime and Corruption Act 2001 ; and
a reference to misconduct within the meaning given by the Crime and Misconduct Act 2001 may be taken to be a reference to corruption within the meaning given by the Crime and Corruption Act 2001 ; and
a reference to official misconduct within the meaning given by the Crime and Misconduct Act 2001 may be taken to be a reference to corrupt conduct within the meaning given by the Crime and Corruption Act 2001 .

- (a) a reference to the Crime and Misconduct Act 2001 may be taken to be a reference to the Crime and Corruption Act 2001 ; and
- (b) a reference to misconduct within the meaning given by the Crime and Misconduct Act 2001 may be taken to be a reference to corruption within the meaning given by the Crime and Corruption Act 2001 ; and
- (c) a reference to official misconduct within the meaning given by the Crime and Misconduct Act 2001 may be taken to be a reference to corrupt conduct within the meaning given by the Crime and Corruption Act 2001 .
