### sec.357 Chairperson of the criminal justice commission
The chairperson of the criminal justice commission under the repealed Criminal Justice Act 1989 goes out of office as the chairperson of the criminal justice commission and as a member of the criminal justice commission on the commencement.
Subsection (3) applies if the chairperson of the Criminal Justice Commission under the repealed Criminal Justice Act 1989 —
is offered appointment as the chairperson under this Act and accepts the appointment; or
is offered appointment as an assistant commissioner under this Act and accepts the appointment.
The chairperson is not entitled to an amount that might otherwise be payable to the chairperson because the chairperson goes out of office under subsection (1).
This section has no effect on superannuation or leave entitlements.
(sec.357-ssec.1) The chairperson of the criminal justice commission under the repealed Criminal Justice Act 1989 goes out of office as the chairperson of the criminal justice commission and as a member of the criminal justice commission on the commencement.
