### sec.356 Offences
Proceedings for an offence against the repealed Act may be continued, or started despite the repeal of the repealed Act.
For subsection (1), the Acts Interpretation Act 1954 , section 20 applies, but does not limit the subsection.
For subsection (1), in relation to an offence against the repealed Criminal Justice Act 1989 , section 138 (2) of that Act applies, despite its repeal as if—
the word ‘commission’ included commission as defined in this Act; and
the word ‘chairperson’ included chairperson or chairman as defined in this Act.
