### sec.229A Functions of president
The president has the functions given to the president under this Act or another Act.
The functions of the president include—
managing the performance of appointed board members and acting appointed board members; and
giving directions about the practices and procedures to be followed by the board.
The president has the power to do all things necessary or convenient to be done for the performance of the president’s functions.
The president must promote the efficient and effective operation of the board.

(sec.229A-ssec.1) The president has the functions given to the president under this Act or another Act.
(sec.229A-ssec.2) The functions of the president include— managing the performance of appointed board members and acting appointed board members; and giving directions about the practices and procedures to be followed by the board.
