### sec.257 Approved foster parents The holder of an approval to act as a foster parent under part 10 of the repealed Act, and in force immediately before the commencing day, continues in force as if it were a certificate of approval as an approved foster carer under this Act. An approval continued in force under subsection (1) ends on the anniversary of its issue in the second year after the commencing day.
