### sec.256 Licensed institutions under repealed Act
A licence issued by the Minister under part 4 of the repealed Act for an institution, and in force immediately before the commencing day, continues in force as if it were a licence to provide care services under this Act.
For this Act, the governing authority of the institution is taken to be the licensee and the person in charge of the institution is taken to be the nominee.
A licence continued in force under subsection (1) ends on the anniversary of its issue in the third year after the commencing day.
(sec.256-ssec.1) A licence issued by the Minister under part 4 of the repealed Act for an institution, and in force immediately before the commencing day, continues in force as if it were a licence to provide care services under this Act.
(sec.256-ssec.2) For this Act, the governing authority of the institution is taken to be the licensee and the person in charge of the institution is taken to be the nominee.
(sec.256-ssec.3) A licence continued in force under subsection (1) ends on the anniversary of its issue in the third year after the commencing day.
