### sec.148D Pending working with children check application
Subsection (2) applies if, when a person turns 18 years—
the person is a member of the household of an approved carer or an applicant for a certificate of approval; and
the person does not hold a working with children authority; and
the person has made a working with children check application.
The Working with Children Check Act 2000 , sections 175 and 176A do not apply in relation to the person as an adult member of the household until the application is decided or withdrawn.

Subsection (4) applies if—
a corporation holds a licence; and
a person becomes the nominee for the licence or a director of the corporation; and
the person does not hold a working with children authority; and
the person is an applicant for a working with children check application.
The Working with Children Check Act 2000 , section 176B does not apply in relation to the person as the nominee for the licence or a director of the corporation until the application is decided or withdrawn.
