### sec.214K Notice of disqualification This section applies if— after considering submissions made by the person, QBCC still considers the person has accumulated 30 demerit points in a period of 3 years; or the person did not make any submissions. QBCC must, by notice (a disqualification notice ) given to the person— inform the person that— QBCC considers the person has accumulated 30 demerit points in a period of 3 years; and the person is a disqualified individual for the period applying under section 214L  and stated in the notice; and if the person holds a building certifier’s licence—cancel the person’s licence. The disqualification notice must be an information notice. To remove any doubt, it is declared that part 3 , division 5 does not apply to a cancellation under subsection (2) . s 214K ins 2020 No. 24 s 56 (sec.214K-ssec.1) This section applies if— after considering submissions made by the person, QBCC still considers the person has accumulated 30 demerit points in a period of 3 years; or the person did not make any submissions. (sec.214K-ssec.3) The disqualification notice must be an information notice.
