### sec.322 Convention countries
Each of the following is a convention country for this Act—
a country prescribed under a regulation to be a convention country;
another country for which the Hague convention has entered into force, under article 46 of the Hague convention, other than—
Australia; or
New Zealand; or
a country to whose accession Australia has raised an objection under article 44 of the Hague convention.
However, subsection (1) applies to a country subject to a declaration under article 45 of the Hague convention.
(sec.322-ssec.1) Each of the following is a convention country for this Act— a country prescribed under a regulation to be a convention country; another country for which the Hague convention has entered into force, under article 46 of the Hague convention, other than— Australia; or New Zealand; or a country to whose accession Australia has raised an objection under article 44 of the Hague convention.
(sec.322-ssec.2) However, subsection (1) applies to a country subject to a declaration under article 45 of the Hague convention.
- (a) a country prescribed under a regulation to be a convention country;
- (b) another country for which the Hague convention has entered into force, under article 46 of the Hague convention, other than— (i) Australia; or (ii) New Zealand; or (iii) a country to whose accession Australia has raised an objection under article 44 of the Hague convention.
- (i) Australia; or
- (ii) New Zealand; or
- (iii) a country to whose accession Australia has raised an objection under article 44 of the Hague convention.
- (i) Australia; or
- (ii) New Zealand; or
- (iii) a country to whose accession Australia has raised an objection under article 44 of the Hague convention.
