### sec.259 Support for persons involved in disclosure of information
The chief executive must provide the information, support or counselling that the chief executive considers appropriate to persons seeking information and persons whose consent to the disclosure of information is sought.
The purpose of providing the information, support or counselling to a person is to help the person decide whether to seek the information, or consent to the disclosure of the information, at that time.
The information that the chief executive may give to a person making a decision mentioned in subsection (2) includes personal information about another person that may influence the decision.
(sec.259-ssec.1) The chief executive must provide the information, support or counselling that the chief executive considers appropriate to persons seeking information and persons whose consent to the disclosure of information is sought.
(sec.259-ssec.2) The purpose of providing the information, support or counselling to a person is to help the person decide whether to seek the information, or consent to the disclosure of the information, at that time.
